Our Inspiration: Livy's Story

At Pet Pro Booking, our passion for providing the highest quality pet care comes from a deeply personal place. It all began with Livy, my beloved cat and the light of my life. Livy wasn’t just a pet—she was family, a source of unconditional love and constant companionship. Her gentle purrs and playful spirit filled my home with warmth and joy. She loves everyone, and everyone who met her, instantly fell in love with her.

But one day, everything changed. Livy fell suddenly and gravely ill. As any devoted pet owner would, I rushed to get her the care she needed. Despite my best efforts, I was met with a harsh reality: the vet care available at that crucial moment fell devastatingly short. Livy didn’t receive the attention or expertise that could have saved her. And just like that, she was gone, leaving a void in my heart and a lasting ache that never truly fades.

In the wake of that painful experience, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many pet owners, just like me, have faced frustration, disappointment, and helplessness when navigating the world of pet care. Whether it’s struggling to find trustworthy professionals, reading through endless and often unreliable reviews, or scrambling to meet specific needs—pet care can be overwhelmingly difficult when it matters most.

Driven by Livy’s memory and a desire to do better for other pets and their owners, I began volunteeting at shelters, pet sitting and walking dogs in my spare time. I wanted to surround myself with the joy of animals again and, in doing so, discovered a whole new community. Through this journey, I met countless pets, each with their own unique personalities and care requirements. From playful pups with boundless energy to elderly cats needing gentle, specialized attention, every pet I cared for opened my eyes to the incredible variety of needs out there.

Talking to fellow pet owners became a revelation. Many shared their own struggles—similar pain points of not finding the right care, frustration over limited access to reliable professionals, or the challenges of understanding their pets’ specific needs. It became clear that while we all faced common difficulties, our pets, like our relationships with them, are truly one-of-a-kind.

This experience solidified my mission. Pet Pro Booking isn’t just about solving a problem—it’s about honoring the love we all have for our pets and recognizing that every pet deserves the best care, tailored to who they are. It’s about creating a community where pet owners feel empowered, heard, and supported, knowing that the resources they need are just a click away.

Livy’s story, along with the stories of so many incredible pets and their loving owners, fuels our purpose. Her memory drives everything we do at Pet Pro Booking. I channeled my grief and love for her into creating a solution that would make a real difference for other pet owners. Our mission is to ensure that no one has to experience the heartbreak of feeling let down when their pet needs expert care and support.
